Stainless
Steel Blender
If you have a newer kitchen, say built in the last six years
or so then it probably is outfitted with stainless steel
appliances. So when you go shopping for your smaller
accessory appliance then you will probably get a stainless
steel blender for your kitchen. Typically going for the
stainless steel option is not that much more expensive.
They look great, are durable, clean easily with a special
cleaner that helps prevent fingerprints, and will go well with
your kitchen.
The first blender was invented 60 years ago and was
manufactured in stainless steel. TOday most of the major
manufacturers offer sleek and stylish looking stainless steel
blenders.
All of the old ice cream parlors only used stainless steel
mixing containers and blender blades for ease of cleaning and
durability. You may remember being served a milkshake in
one of these classic containers.
Many of the new blenders come with high powered motors that
make them suitable for professional bartenders or the casual
home user. Units like these can blend frozen fruits in
seconds. They also come with a more heavy duty stainless
steel set of blades that can quickly process any solid you
throw at it.
Many people like the metal container vs. the glass or
plastic ones. These units are typically louder than the
more conventional units but since they are quick you don't need
to run them as long. And as you well know crushing ice
for your frozen drinks is a tough job. You'll need one of
these heavy duty units to process ice without overheating or
jamming up.
So if you like to party, grab one of these.
